Information Technology has envisioned eLearning and it is the future of classroom pedagogy.  So we have developed media lab to enhance capabilities of prospective teachers.  This laboratory helps trainees to understand the role of media in learning and teaching.  This lab is specifically devised for dual purpose; it is developed for demonstration of audio-visual equipements and another is to make it virtual classroom.  In this there is a provision of virtual classroom, so in future the lab can be connected through EDUSAT with other centres of open learning. 

The institute has all computers connected for Language Laboratory.  It is based on computer simulation for learning second or foreign languages.  The learners can practice the material available and can be monitored by mentors on control panel.  It is two-way communication, so mentor can instruct individual learner with the help of system.  The mentor can instruct all at once.  The learners can store practice sessions on computer itself.  The learners can have dialogue recorded on stand alone computer.  The advantage of this lab is to enhance listening and speaking abilities.
